Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

Ruutupeli is a party game played by several people on one shared device. It has no accounts, no servers, and no network features of any kind — so there is nothing for us to collect, and nowhere for it to go.

The detail behind each answer is below.

What we collect

Nothing. We collect no personal information, no usage analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifiers, and no device identifiers. Nothing you do in the app reaches us or anyone else, because the app never connects to the internet.

What stays on your device

So the app remembers how you like to play, Ruutupeli saves your settings in the device's own local app storage. That means:

This stays on your device. It is never uploaded, never backed up to us, and never readable by us or by anyone else. If you would rather not type real names, nicknames work exactly as well.

Third-party services

There are none. Ruutupeli contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no social media SDK, and no tracking of any kind. It uses no cookies or similar technologies, and it does not ask for the App Tracking Transparency permission, because it has nothing to track you with.

Children

Ruutupeli is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either. It meets COPPA and the GDPR by design: there is nothing to collect, process, or transfer.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes the saved settings along with it. You can also clear them from your device's own settings — Offload App on iOS, Clear storage on Android. Since nothing ever leaves your device, you never need to ask us to delete anything.
